Jeju is an island located in south-west of the Korean Peninsula. It is the biggest island of Republic of Korea. Basalt rocks cover more than 90% of area of this unique volcanic island. The island is strategically positioned connecting Continents (Russia, China) and Oceans (Japan, South-East Asia)., and known for a unique recreational island with beautiful natural landscape. The island is oval-shaped with Halla Mountain in the center, stretching 73km from east to west and 41km from north to south with a belt way (Ilju Road) of 181km and a coastal line of 258km. It is an island of temperate climate, with citrus as the main produce. The venue is located in Jungmun Resort Complex which is an ocean-front resort-style five-star hotel. Jeju is a testbed for building an electric vehicle charging infrastructure and aims to develop an intelligent transportation service model. Roughly 15,000 rapid-charging stations are expected to be in operation by 2030. South Korea announced the 쁂arbon-Free Jeju Island by 2030, a plan supporting the shift to renewable energy. and moving toward a green city.
